Cardinals in the Post Season
We were lucky enough to make it to both the Cardinals vs. Dodgers game 6 NLCS game and to the Cardinals vs. Red Sox game 3 World Series game this year. For the NLCS game, my parents and the kids joined us, but it was a date night in Homer's Landing for Joe and I at the World Series.
Cardinals win the National League Championship!! We stayed until the very end (of course) to watch the trophy presentations, player celebrations, and experience the excitement of the crowd. The kids had tired out by about the 7th inning, but the craziness of the crowd after the NLCS win perked them up in no time. Luckily the rain was a light drizzle by the end of the game.

The Cardinals vs. Red Sox World Series Game 3 was a date night for Joe and I. (and note that this blog is being posted before knowing who won the World Series - right now Red Sox are up 3-2 in the series). Here is the classic St. Louis shot, with Cardinals red added in.
Busch Stadium was in full celebratory mode for the first home game.
I love it when the Clydesdales are at the game! I remember how excited I would get when I saw them before a game as a child.

Spirit fingers to cheer on the team!
Cardinals won on very strange circumstances - interference allowing the runner to advance home. You can see in this picture some Cardinals celebrating, some Cardinals confused, and some Red Sox players also running the field to protest the call. Once the confusion was sorted out, it turned out to be a Cardinals win and the stadium went wild!
