Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! (at least I am making this post before Thanksgiving!). As Halloween is my favorite holiday, we stay busy enjoying all that is offered for this time of year. And my absolute favorite event is Jack Spectacular at the Washington Park Carillon. This year had 2011 carved pumpkins, and many of them were very well carved.
Here is Olivia with a "beautiful" pumpkin.

And thank goodness we found this pumpkin - literally in the last patch! Ethan's preschool class worked together to design and carve this pumpkin. He was especially proud of the 3 octagon mouths.
We spent a fun afternoon with friends at the Cherry Hills Fall Festival. The kids really enjoyed these rolling toys.

Wolverine (aka Ethan) at his preschool Halloween Parade.
And singing Halloween songs for the parents.
Pumpkin carving! Olivia only wanted one eye this year again. That was fine with us since these pumpkins were extremely thick skinned and they were very difficult to carve!
And Ethan's "spooky" pumpkin that he designed himself. He definitely did not want a traditional looking pumpkin this year.
Olivia's costume - "Black Widow Spidergirl". As she stated "I am way over Princesses, mom".
And Ethan as Wolverine. I doubt he outgrows superheroes as Joe is still interested in them!
Ready to Trick or Treat!
And the aftermath...Ethan with his loot,
and Olivia with hers.
