Olivia's Birthday

Olivia recently celebrated her 10th birthday with a slumber party and a family party.  Joe and I still don't know how she is 10!  Olivia is growing into such a little lady (or maybe not so little - she is now 5'1" and wears a ladies' size 8 shoe!!  We don't really know where she is getting her height!).  I apologize in advance for the picture quality - I am not sure what happened, but all pictures are fairly blurry when enlarged.

Olivia on her birthday morning opening presents before Joe goes in to work.

A homemade birthday card from Ethan.

Preparing for the slumber birthday party.  The theme was mustaches and there were 11 girls at the party!  Although, the party did go smoothly with no drama.

Chalk drawing after pizza.  The girls decided to do a circle of themselves holding hands.

Things quickly turned silly and messy!

Yes, Joe even got out the ladder for aerial shots!

The finished product.  It turned out fantastic, and lasted about 5 days before the rain washed it away.

There were multiple "Just Dance 2014" dance parties throughout the night/morning.

Happy Birthday Olivia!  The cake was fabulous - the decoration was great and it tasted yummy and rich since each tier was 4 layers! (and no, I did not do this - a local bakery did).

The girls broke into 3 groups to complete a toilet paper/duct tape/foil outfit.  The results were pretty impressive!

While it took about 45 minutes for the outfits to be constructed, it took less than 5 minutes for the girls to destroy them!

Silly string party before flashlight tag.  In the morning it looked like a clown exploded in our backyard.

And the next party was the family party.  Olivia opted for a "burger bar" with tons of toppings for her food.  Here is the birthday girl with her grammy and grandma.

Family picture - the cakes were a pound cake and served with homemade cherry cobbler ice cream.

Joe's birthday is 6 days after Olivia's, so they were each given a cake to blow out the candles.  Happy Birthday to Olivia and Joe!
