This and That

Our toothless wonder! Olivia has lost her 4 front teeth, plus 2 more on the bottom are loose. We do not know how the loose teeth are actually still in her mouth - they are holding on by a thread! She has stopped eating all crunchy foods for the time being - carrots, etc. I love seeing the gap in her smile!

No, this is not how her last tooth fell out - she knocked it out with a hula hoop at school!

We recently went bowling with Olivia's church youth group. The kids had never been bowling before, and they really seemed to enjoy it! Luckily for them and me, the gutter rails were up, or I don't know how our rolls would have hit any pins.

Olivia and I attended a Perfectly Princess Tea Party at Centrum Cafe last month. I do believe that this is the beginning of the end of her love of princesses. She was not as excited about dressing up or meeting Cinderella as she normally would have been in the past. While I won't exactly miss the princess stage, I wonder what the next stage will be? Bieber fever??

Olivia and her princess friends at the Tea Party.

On April 2, my dad and cousins Brittany and Julie completed the Abe Lincoln half marathon. It was great to see them cross the finish line, and we celebrated with a family lunch afterwards.

A perfect day for kite flying!

Olivia's school (grades K-2) had their Festival of Foods music recital. The kids sang and danced for about 30 minutes, all songs related to food. We were so impressed that Olivia was able to memorize all of the songs and dance moves! (Olivia is in black and white in the center of the photo)
