The Life of a Two Year Old
Ah, the life of a 2 1/2 year old. Birthday parties, snow days that you are actually excited about, music class, Funshop, playdates, McDonald's...need I say more? That has been Olivia's (and therefore mine as well) life as of late.
We recently attended a 3rd birthday party at the Decatur Children's Museum for her friend Kellan. That is a wonderful place to spend the morning and I highly recommend making the trip. Below is a picture of Joe doing "Dance Dance Revolution". No wait, wrong picture. This is a shot of Joe and his fellow radiology resident Curt playing a simulated soccer game at the museum while Olivia and Caden (Curt's son) watch. Who says that children grow up?
Olivia and friends Kellan and Griffin at the museum's water table building water mazes.
Does anyone else's child hide when they see a camera? As of late, Olivia will not look directly at a camera and will definitely not smile when her picture is being taken. She will look back at these times and think that she was an unhappy child! So I was thrilled when a friend captured this shot of her at Funshop - she is actually looking somewhat happily into the camera!

Joe is such a Dance Dance Revolution kind of guy. I can definitely see it in his moves there! Well practised. Soccer, yeah right, like anybody is going to believe that one.
I love that Olivia ate the eyes off of the snowman! That is hilarious.
